Photo shadow removal with image editing

This group photo has several shadows in it that I would like to have removed. Can you remove all the shadows? Some look difficult — they are shadows on the furniture and also on people's faces. The faces are extra bright — very over-exposed. Can the exposure be edited so that the detail on the faces is visible.

 

Photo editing: New photo for CV

Hi Guys, I feel I need a new photo for my CV. I don't like the one I am currently using as I look like a bookworm, puffy tired and also way older than I am... (see attached photo 1) I really love this other photo of me cause I am smiling and look younger and positive (see attached photo 2). And also this other one but I look dark and tired (see attached photo 3)

 

Do you have any advice? How much is it going to cost me to edit one or two of these photos? I also attach to this email my current Italian CV to show you what size of photo I need. Thank you very much in advance and let me know!
