Remove shadow on face

"This is a classic photograph of Sean Connery from 'Another Time, Another Place' (1958). While the shadow to the right of his face looks great, the one below his nose is rather harsh, making his nose look bigger (??) than it is. Can you remove or reduce the shadow please. Please do whichever is preferable without it looking unnatural."
